BHU to Host ‘Spandan’ Inter Faculty Youth Festival from February 21

Banaras Hindu University will organise its Inter-Faculty Youth Festival ‘Spandan’ from February 21 to 25, 2026, featuring cultural and literary competitions.

Varanasi: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will conduct its Inter-Faculty Youth Festival, named Spandan, from February 21 to 25, 2026.

According to the university’s official program schedule announced on the university website, the youth festival will comprise a series of literary, artistic, and cultural events such as classical and light vocal music, instrumental, folk and classical dance, mime, street play, skit, quiz, debate, poetry recitation, English and Hindi elocution, and poster-making competitions.

The competitions will be held at various venues on the university campus, including Swatantrata Bhawan, K.N. Udupa Auditorium, Mahila Mahavidyalaya Auditorium, and other specified halls.

The youth festival seeks to offer a platform to the students to display their creative abilities and talents, and to facilitate cultural exchange between the faculties of the university. The students will compete at the inter-faculty level in different categories over the five days of the festival.
