BIMTECH Welcomes Batch 2026 28 at 39th Deeksharambh Ceremony, Focuses on Future Ready Leadership

BIMTECH held its 39th Deeksharambh ceremony at the Greater Noida Campus to welcome the Batch of 2026-28. The business school identified Leadership, Flexibility, Preparedness, and Innovation (LFP-I) as the essential building blocks of success in business for students who came from varied academic and geographical backgrounds.

National, 19 June 2026: BIMTECH in India (AACSB accredited) formally inducted the Batch of 2026-28 with the 39th “Deeksharambh” ceremony on the Greater Noida campus.

The newly inducted cohort is enrolled in the following programs: PGDM, PGDM (Int'l Business), PGDM (Insurance Business Management), PGDM (Retail Management). These are the only full-time 2-year programs offered by BIMTECH.

The ceremony was attended by the Chief Guest, Mr. Arvind Bhandari, CEO & Managing Director, Goodyear India Ltd., and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Badari Narayana, Executive Director, Deloitte, India. Mr. Bhandari encouraged the students to 'embrace the spirit of lifelong learning and flexibility.'

The education you acquire in this institution will not only help you to get a job but will also assist you in understanding your inner self and help you develop the habit of learning throughout your life. In the age of ready access to information and rapid technology development, the traits that will uniquely define you will be your curiosity, originality, authenticity, and self-confidence. Those students who are ready to learn, think beyond the prescribed curriculum, and are genuinely themselves will be the innovators of tomorrow, the world changers, and the leaders who will 'disturb the status quo' of the world and make a significant impact. As evident from the following statement, these programs are no longer merely MBA programs. According to Mr. Badari Narayana, Executive Director, Deloitte India,

"The world of work is being transformed quickly. The leaders of the future will be those who get ahead of the changes, as opposed to the present leaders who react to the changes. An MBA is not a degree; it is a means to develop skills, learn to be flexible, and develop a mentality to survive the changes. With the evolution of work and the changes that will be brought by technology to the work and the way it is done, students need to be focused on creating and bringing value, learning on a daily basis, and being proactive with respect to their own development. Organizations hire you to be knowledgeable, but trust you the most for being curious, flexible, robust, and for the value that you will bring. Those with these skills will be able to create the future instead of just be a part of it."

This year, BIMTECH has been adapting its teaching and practice to be more contemporary and future oriented. The new students this year have a good gender diversity of 60% men and 40% women. This new group has considerable variation in perspectives, experience, and aspirations.

To help mark the beginning of the next academic year Dr. Prabina Rajib, Director of BIMTECH, shared the following:

Celebrating an important academic milestone, Dr. Prabina Rajib, Director, BIMTECH, said:

"As we induct a new cohort into the BIMTECH family, I urge each one of you to see the next 22 months as a period of transformation, for learning, evolving, and growing. For success in the dynamic world of business, academic excellence alone is not sufficient. It is also essential to be curious, have the willingness to work hard and continuously upgrade skills, along with the guts to take responsibility for the future. Equally critical is the development of character, integrity, accountability, and respect for difference, which are the foundations of trust and the attributes of great leadership. BIMTECH aims to develop such professionals of the future."

For its “AI-Enabled Interview Mastery” initiative, BIMTECH has received the 2026 AACSB Global Impact Award.
