New Delhi, June 29: The CBSE announced that 99.7% of all results regarding the Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of Class XII Examination have been processed. The Board announced that the remaining outcomes of the re-evaluations will be released shortly.
Last year (2025), the results declaration process began on June 27 and was completed by July 11, 2025. Regarding Class 12 student Vedant Shrivastava's claims of irregularities regarding revaluation results, the CBSE responded that the claims are false. In CBSE's official response, it noted that Shrivastava stated on social media that his revaluation results for two subjects showed an increase of only one mark, and that there was no change in his Physics mark. However, the Board stated that Shrivastava's Physics increased by nine marks after the re-evaluation.
Additionally, the Board stated that the revaluation results of 2025 were declared between June 27 and July 11.
Shrivastava made headlines in May of this year after he posted on X, alleging that his original Physics answer sheet was swapped with another student's, which triggered an online controversy regarding the evaluation process for CBSE Class 12 answer sheets. On June 21, the CBSE began the stepwise release of Class XII verification and re-evaluation results and confirmed that over 87% of the total applications received had been processed.
In a notice on X, CBSE mentioned that the remaining applications would be released in a phased manner and asked the students to not worry, as the CBSE would complete the process at the earliest.
"Dearest students, CBSE has commenced the release of Class XII Verification of issues observed and Re-evaluation outcomes. ... the outcomes of the remaining applications will be made available in phases, and the entire process is expected to be completed soon," the board wrote on the social media site.
