CHARUSAT Opens MPT Admissions for 2025–26, Entrance Exam on May 3

Applications open till April 30; 21 seats across five specialisations with stipend support.

Anand: Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) has announced admissions for its Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programme for the July 2025 batch. Applications will remain open from February 17 to April 30. The entrance examination will be conducted on May 3, followed by results and counselling on the same day.

According to the official admission notification the two-year full-time MPT programme will commence in July 2025. The entrance exam is scheduled from 10 am to 11 am on May 3, results will be declared at 1:30 pm, and counselling will begin at 2:30 pm.

Offered by the Ashok & Rita Patel Institute of Physiotherapy (ARIP), a constituent institute of CHARUSAT, the programme includes five specialisations: Musculoskeletal Sciences, Neurological Sciences, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, Paediatrics, and Rehabilitation. The total intake across all specialisations is 21 seats.

Eligibility requires candidates to have completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) along with a compulsory six-month internship, securing at least a second class or equivalent grade. Admissions will be based on 60 per cent of BPT aggregate marks and 40 per cent weightage from the CHARUSAT entrance examination merit.

The annual tuition fee for the programme is ₹2,00,000, subject to revision as per the Fee Regulatory Committee norms. The application fee is ₹2,000 and must be submitted online through the university website.

The institute has also announced a monthly stipend of ₹4,000 for first-year students and ₹5,000 for second-year students. Degrees will be awarded by CHARUSAT upon successful completion of programme requirements.
