NCERT Announces Written Examination for PGT Posts Under LDCE Quota

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has issued a notification regarding the written examination for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) under the Limited Departmental Examination Quota (LDCE). The examination will be conducted on February 14, 2026.

New Delhi : - The National Council of Educational Reearch and Training (NCERT) has released an official notification, announcing the the written examination for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), in various subjects under the Limited Departmental Examination Quita (LDGE). The recruitment pertains to PGT posts in Demonstration Multipurpose (D.M) Schools. 

According to the notificationthe written examination will be held on February 14, 2026 (Saturday) from 10:00 AM onwards at CIET, NCERT, New Delhi–110016. The examination will cover subjects including English, Hindi, Political Science, Fine Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, Biology, and Mathematics.

NCERT has informed that admit cards for provisionally shortlisted candidates are being sent to their registered email addresses as mentioned in their application forms. Candidates are required to bring the duly completed admit card along with a valid photograph and NCERT Identity Card to the examination centre.

The notification has been issued with the approval of the competent authority, and concerned officials including Principals of DMS and Regional Institutes of Education have been informed to circulate the details among eligible candidates.
