NIT Jamshedpur to Host Advanced Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program on auto components

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur will organise an Advanced Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (A-ESDP) from February 12 to 16, 2026, sponsored by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India. The programme will focus on scaling auto components , businesses for internal combustion engines (ICEs) and electric vehicle (EVs)

Jamshedpur - The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur has announced an Advanced Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (A-ESDP) titked "Scaling Success: Auto Components for ICEs and EVs in Domestic and Export Markets”. The five-day programme will be held from February 12 to 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at DJLHC, NIT Jamshedpur, and is sponsored by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.

The programme is designed to empower entrepreneurs, manufacturers, startups and professionals in the auto component sector and skills and strategies to compete in both traditional ICE and emerging EV markets. Resource persons will include eminent experts from IITs, NITs government universities and industry.

The course will cover key themes such as understanding the global auto components market, building competitiveness, field visits and practical insights, innovation and sustainability and strateging planning for future growth. The programme targets small, medium and large auto component manufacturers , business owners, engineers, designers and technical professionals.

The application deadline is in January 30, 2026, and the notification to selected candidates will be sent on February 2, 2026. Interested candidates can register through the online applications link/QR code provided by NIT, Jamshedpur. Registration for the programs is free of cost. Selected participants will be provided accommodation, food, stationary and consumables during the workshop period. A certificate of successful completion will be issued to eligible participants. 

The programme is being organised under the patronage of Prof. Goutam Sutradhar, Hon’ble Director, NIT Jamshedpur, with Prof. Ram Vinoy Sharma, Deputy Director, as Co-Patron, and Prof. Satish Kumar, Dean (Research & Consultancy), as Chairman. The coordinators are Dr. Kanika Prasad (DPIE), Dr. Omhari Gupta (DEE), and Dr. K. Raghavendra Naik (DEE).
