Dubai :– The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is set to mark a historic milestone with the inauguration of its first international campus in Dubai on September 11. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, along with UAE Minister of Higher Education H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, will preside over the ceremony.

Pradhan is on a two-day visit to the UAE from September 10–11 to deepen educational partnerships, foster innovation, and create new avenues for students and institutions from both nations. His itinerary includes the inauguration of the Atal Incubation Centre at IIT Delhi–Abu Dhabi, the launch of new academic programmes, interactions with students and faculty, and participation in cultural and educational events.

The Dubai campus marks IIM Ahmedabad’s global debut, making it the first Indian Institute of Management to establish an overseas presence. The launch is expected to strengthen India’s higher education footprint worldwide and open new opportunities for academic collaboration.
