Kakatiya University reschedules Spoken English course, applications open till March 4

Six-week communication skills programme to now run from March 5 to April 13

Warangal: Kakatiya University has revised the schedule for its Spoken English and Communication Skills course, pushing the start date to March 5 after technical issues delayed the earlier plan. The six-week programme will now continue until April 13 at the Centre for English Language Teaching (CELT), Department of English.

The course is open not only to students but also to homemakers and non-teaching staff, making it one of the university’s broader outreach skill initiatives. Interested candidates must apply on or before March 4, either online or by visiting the centre directly.

Officials said the programme aims to improve practical communication ability rather than theoretical language learning, with sessions spread across roughly 40 days. The university has also released fee details: ₹200 for Kakatiya University students and ₹1,500 for others.
