MNLU is going to organise an international conference on constitutional values.

On 18th to 19th April, 2026, Maharashtra National Law University is going to organise an international conference. The motive behind the event is to promote quality research on various topics of public law and jurisprudence. In this event, debates and dissensions are important to analyse different policies of the government of India and their impact on the different collaborators.

Maharastra: On 18th to 19th April, 2026, Maharashtra National Law University is going to organise an international conference on Constitutionalism to Transformative Constitutionalism: Rethinking the Constitutions Across Time and World, in collaboration with the Centre for Environmental Law and Policy, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 18th to 19th April, 2026.

The conference gonna organised under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Ukey, Vice-Chancellor of MNLU Mumbai and Co-Patron Prof. (Dr.) Prakash Chaudhary, Registrar of MNLU Mumbai. In the organising team, Dr Sampada Kangane, Asst. Professor of MNLU Mumbai and Dr Sayalee Surjuse, Asst. Professor of MNLU Mumbai as the Faculty Convener 

This event has been organised since 2023. The motive behind the event is to promote quality research on various topics of public law and jurisprudence. In this event, debates and dissensions are important to analyse different policies of the government of India and their impact on the different collaborators. This also helps students to understand the subject of public policy. This event gives opportunities to students to interact with experts in the field of the constitution. This conference is going to have topics related to the Constitution, Foundations of Constitutional Thought, Institutions, Accountability and Democratic Resilience, Rights in Motion: Expanding the Constitutional Imagination, The Judiciary and Transformative Interpretation and some more topics.
