NEET UG 2026 Admit Card Download; NTA Offers Fresh Access for Candidates Facing Issues

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided an additional opportunity for NEET (UG) 2026 candidates to download their admit cards. Multiple requests prompted the NTA to take this measure as candidates faced issues with bank account details and were unable to access their admit cards.

As per the notice, admit cards were presumably released on June 14 for candidates scheduled for the NEET (UG) 2026 exam on June 21. To this date, around 1.6 million candidates have downloaded their respective admit cards. However, other candidates brought to notice issues related to the submission and verification of their bank account details for the refund of the exam fee.

 

NTA Provided Two Options to the Candidates

To address the issues, NTA provided the following two options to the candidates who logged on to the official NEET portal.

Candidates could choose to:

  • Download the admit card first and then complete the verification and confirmation of the bank details for the fee refund.
  • Confirm the bank details first, and then download the admit card.

The NTA clarified that both options were available through the official NEET website and required the candidates to log on using their credentials. The NTA assured no student would face problems accessing their admit card due to the refund formalities.

 

NTA Advises Candidates to Use Official Websites Only

NTA has directed candidates to download their admit cards only through the official examination portal and to be wary of unofficial sources. The agency also called on students to check the official websites for the latest updates and notifications related to the examination.

This new system has been introduced to ensure that the candidates who have registered for the examination are able to download their admit cards easily before the examination.
