CUH Inaugurates 24th Online Faculty Development Programme

The programme aims to enhance teaching competencies and promote academic excellence through innovative pedagogical training and research-oriented sessions.

Haryana: The Government of India and UGC launched the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme with a projection for developing and equipping university and college teachers with new work skills, domains, and disciplinary advancements. The theme of this mission is to align all teachers with new-age skills to improve capacity building in the light of NEP 2020. The outcome of this capacity-building training will be the metamorphosis of higher education in terms of Indian values, teaching, research, publication, patents, and institutional development. In this regard, CUH has organized 24 th NEP “ORIENTATION AND SENSITIZATION PROGRAMME” (through Online Mode) at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme from 14-22 July 2025, wherein more than 80 educators registered from various Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) across India.

The inaugural program was commenced by Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice- Chancellor. He has shared introductory remarks on higher education and its ecosystem. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar also highlighted the government's initiatives for the implementation of NEP. Prof. Neelam Sangwan, Dean Research has delivered inaugural lecture on Research integrity and NEP goals. Prof. Supran Kumar Sharma delivered lecture on NEP implementation in higher educational institutions. Prof. Parmod Kumar, Director, MMTTC and Prof. Tanu Gupta, Deputy Director, MMTTC welcomed the participants and briefed them about a total of 16 technical sessions. Dr. Saurabh Saxena and Dr. Mulaka Maruthi from the Department of Biochemistry are serving as programme coordinators.
