Panjab University Invites Applications for MET 2026: Specialized MBA Programs at UIAMS

CHANDIGARH – The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) at Panjab University has officially announced the Management Entrance Test (MET) 2026 for admission to its specialized sectoral MBA programs for the 2026-27 academic session.

Aspiring management professionals can now apply online for various industry-oriented streams designed to meet the growing demand for specialized managerial skills.

Offered Specialized MBA Programs

UIAMS offers eight distinct MBA programs focusing on key sectoral areas:

  • MBA (Retail Management)

  • MBA (Banking & Insurance Management)

  • MBA (IT & Telecommunications Management)

  • MBA (Infrastructural Management)

  • MBA (Pharmaceutical Management)

  • MBA (Hospital Management)

  • MBA (Capital Markets)

  • MBA (Business Analytics)

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility varies based on the chosen specialization, generally requiring a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates):

  • General Streams (Retail, Banking, Infrastructure, Capital Markets, Business Analytics): Any Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university.

  • IT & Telecommunications: B.E./B.Tech (any branch), BCA, or a Science degree with Physics/Mathematics.

  • Pharmaceutical Management: B. Pharmacy, MBBS, or a Science degree with a Diploma in Pharmacy.

  • Hospital Management: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B. Pharmacy, B.Sc. (Nursing), BPT, or B.Sc./B.Voc. in relevant medical fields.

Note: Candidates appearing in their final degree examinations are also eligible to apply provisionally.
