The UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, MEGHALAYA has released the results of the PhD Entrance Test (A) Batch, conducted on January 31, with provisional selection made in several academic department

RI-BHOI - University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has officially declared the results of the PhD Entrance Test 2026 (A) Batch. The examination was held on January 31, 2026, and the result notification was issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations & Admissions on the same date.

According to the notification, candidates have been provisionally selected for admission to the PhD programme in a wide range of disciplines including Chemistry, Geography, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Food Science and Technology, Botany, Business Administration, Rural developments, Sociology, Social Work, Education and Allied & Healthcare Sciences. The selections are subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria as per the university's PhD rules and regulations.

The university has informed that selected candidates must complete the admission process between February 2 and February 6, 2026, through the official online admission portal. Offline admission facilities will also be available on the university campus during the same period. In case any selected candidate fails to take admission within the stipulated time, the vacant seats will be filled from the waiting list, which will be released after February 6, as per university norms.
