CBSE Issues Circular on Opening of Amrit Udyan 2026 for School Visits

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has informed affiliated schools about the opening of Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan for the Winter Annual Edition 2026. The gardens will remain open to the public from February 3 to March 31, 2026, with special guidelines for school and college visits.

New Delhi - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released Circular No. Acad-09/2026 regarding the opening of Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan for the Winter Annual Edition 2026.

As per the circular, the gardens will remain open to the general public from February 3 to March 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:00 PM), except on Mondays. Recommended visiting days for schools and colleges are Tuesday to Friday.

The edition showcases a vibrant display of seasonal flowers including tulips, daffodils, Asiatic lilies, Oriental lilies, and over 70 varieties of seasonal blooms. Key attractions include Bal Vatika, Plumeria Garden, Banyan Grove, Bonsai Garden, East and Central Lawns, Long Garden, Circular Garden, Vertical Garden, and the newly introduced Babbling Brook feature. QR-coded information and guided tours will also be available.

Booking & Entry Guidelines:

Only online booking is permitted; no offline or on-the-spot booking allowed.

Tickets must be booked through the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website under the “Amrit Udyan” link.

Booking for a particular day closes at 10:00 AM on the previous day.

Maximum 100 students per booking; separate booking required if the number exceeds 100.

Students must visit in proper school uniform.

Entry for school groups will be through Gate No. 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan (North Avenue Road).

Accompanying teachers must carry the booking QR code for entry.
