Kakatiya University to Host Golden Jubilee National Conference on Integrating SDGs for Viksit Bharat @2047 : Register Now

Kakatiya University, Warangal, will organize a Two-Day National Conference titled “Integrating SDGs for Viksit Bharat @2047: Achievements & Pathways” on 26 and 27 February 2026. Coinciding with the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the University, the conference will bring together academicians, policymakers, researchers, and students to review India’s progress on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and chart future pathways aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

Warangal  - Kakatiya University, Warangal, is set to host a Two-Day National Conference on “Integrating SDGs for Viksit Bharat @2047: Achievements & Pathways” on 26–27 February 2026 at the University Auditorium. The conference coincides with the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the University (1976–2026), marking 50 years of excellence in higher education, research, and social sciences.

The conference aims to review India’s achievements on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from 2015 to 2030, using tools such as the SDGs India Index and state-level indicators. It will also focus on developing integrated strategies for SDG localization aligned with national missions up to 2047. Emphasis will be placed on interdisciplinary contributions from social sciences and literature in shaping inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development narratives.

Key objectives include fostering academia–policy linkages, promoting interdisciplinary research, building research and policy consortia, and inspiring youth participation in region-specific and national innovation dialogues. The conference will cover the thematic framework of the 5Ps—People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnerships, with sub-themes ranging from poverty eradication, education, gender equality, climate action, biodiversity, clean energy, innovation, governance, social justice, and global partnerships.

The event will feature plenary sessions thematic panels, keynote lectures, breakout discussions, poster presentation and cultural performances linked to SDGs. More than 500 delegates, 250+ research papers and 250+ poster presentations are expected to participate.
