UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card Released Download at ugcnet.nta.nic.in

NTA released the UGC-NET June 2026 exam admit cards on June 17, 2026, for candidates whose exams are scheduled on any of the six days in June. To download the hall ticket and undertaking, candidates should log in to ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card Released for All Dates

Announcement for the release of admit cards for UGC-NET June 2026 was made by National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 17, 2026, through a notice published jointly with the University Grants Commission. The examination will be held across the country on June 22, June 23, June 24, June 25, June 29, and June 30, 2026, spread over six days. As per the notice, the admit cards for all six dates have been made available today, so that all the registered candidates can download and check their admit cards before the examination.

In a public notice on June 10, 2026, candidates were informed about their examination city and date through the Advance City Intimation Slip. While that slip provided candidates with preliminary information about the location of the examination city, the admit card provides the final and complete allotment, including the address of the examination venue. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall unless they have a printed admit card.

To download their admit card, candidates need to visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in, and log in with their application number and password. As the NTA directs, candidates must read the instructions on their admit card, which provide information about reporting time, as well as the items that are allowed and the rules that will govern the examination.

What Must Candidates Download Along with the Hall Ticket

One of the mandatory requirements that candidates need to fulfil is given in the instructions by NTA in which candidates are informed that downloading the admit card is not the only task. Along with the admit card, candidates need to download the undertaking as well. This undertaking is also on the same portal and needs to be printed and taken to the exam centre. Candidates need to view both documents to be equally important for entry on the exam day, as exam staff may verify both documents at the reporting desk.

UGC-NET is among the highly competitive national exams in India which ascertains the eligibility of candidates for the award of the Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for the appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities and Colleges across India. Lakh of postgraduate candidates appear for this exam in each cycle. Any negligence in completing the exam day formalities may lead to entry denial. Hence, downloading, printing, and verifying the admit card prior to the exam date is very important for candidates.

Candidate details on the admit card should include the name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, reporting time, and the centre address. If candidates find any incorrect details, they should be reported to NTA prior to the exam day. The signed notice of the Director (Exams), NTA, has directed candidates to submit correction requests through the official portal.

What to Do When There's an Issue with Downloading/Errors in the Admit Card.

In case an applicant has faced difficulties in downloading the admit card or identifying errors in the admit card, they are requested to contact the NTA Helpdesk at 011-40759000 or write to ugcnet@nta.ac.in. Both are active channels for exam-related queries. Candidates are requested to contact as soon as possible as any request for corrections may not be feasible at the last moment before the exam.

NTA requests all candidates to visit the official website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in regularly for updates and announcements for UGC-NET June 2026. As the exam is scheduled for multiple days, there can be additional instructions or clarifications for the exam, and the best way to avoid confusion at the last minute is to rely on official updates.

Candidates planning to appear on June 22, 2026, have limited time remaining to download the admit card. Candidates with exams scheduled on later dates in June 2026 are also encouraged to download the admit card at the earliest. Printing the admit card in advance eliminates the risk of system overload or crashes that can take place on the portal just before the National exam.
