Xavier's Entrance Test 2026: Application Deadline Extended

The dates for the issue of the admit card too have changed in accordance with the revised deadline, while the examination dates themselves remain unchanged.

Mumbai: In response to reports of technical glitches and insufficiency of the period provided for form submission, St. Xavier’s College (SXC) has officially revised the last date for receipt of application forms for the Xavier’s Entrance Test (XET) 2026. The deadline now stands extended from 5:00 P.M. on 17th April, 2026, to 6:00 P.M. on 22nd April, 2026.

The dates for the issue of the Hall Ticket have also been changed accordingly. Those applicants who have applied for the examination before the evening of 17th April may receive their admit cards on 25th April, 2026, while those who have submitted their forms after the previously assigned date and time may receive theirs on 28th April, 2026. 

To download the Hall Ticket, applicants are to log in to their XET 2026 account and select the ‘View’ option to have their application form displayed. They must then click on the ‘Download’ option at the very top of the presented form.

The XET is mandated by SXC for specific undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Undergraduate courses accessible upon the clearing of the entrance examination include Bachelor of Commerce in Management Studies (B.M.S), Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Journalism (B.A.-M.C.J.), and Bachelor of Science programmes in Information Technology (B.Sc.-I.T.) and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (B.Sc.-D.S.A.I.). Postgraduate courses accessible through the examination include Master of Science (M.Sc.) programmes in Big Data Analytics (M.Sc.-B.D.A.) as well as Biotechnology, and Life Span Counselling under Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology. 

Candidates must note that in spite of the period for form submission being extended, the date of commencement and the schedule for the XET for the aforementioned programmes remains unchanged.
